![]() ![]() Though in all seriousness, if you could turn the bones of the dead and the souls of the dying into immortal soldiers, would you make them look like battle hardened soldiers or shambling corpses that appear as if they are struggling to not fall apart? I'll take what I can get since necromancy is so rarely allowed for the player to use in fantasy games without being horribly nerfed. ![]() However, I suppose we will still have to put up with the all "undead must be ugly" aspect which is tolerable. There are multiple game difficulty modes, which is worth considering in combination with your starting location, which has its own challenge rating.While I really appreciate that the game is allowing for playable necromancy, I also hope the player is not forced to act like a generic villain in the RP aspects of the game.īecause lets be honest here, Necromancy is like any other type of magic in that it isn't inherently evil. Once you are done with your archetype selection, you choose your starting location. They fraft via artificing, and their primary school is Earthmaster with second school of Guardian. They work best with small but strong armies. They’re focused very much on protection (of their armies) and they get special extra upgrades. The Artificer makes magical stuff such as artifacts and glyphs.They craft with necromancy and their primary and secondary schools are death. The Necromancer is able to harvest dead souls! They can sacrifice weak units and grow their undead armies large.Their crafting nature is alchemy, their primary school nature, and their secondary school is enchantment. They do have an overwhelming amount of options and scale quickly. The Alchemist can summon creatures in battle and brew potions. ![]()
